*The Biblical concept of stewardship is foreign to most professing Christians today
Steward: One who manages the affairs and assets of another. (Power of attorney)
The Four “T’s” of Stewardship:
Time

Talents
*Talents are God given skills, giftings and abilities (Given before birth)
Five Truths about God given talents:
- They are entrusted to us by God
- They are owned by God
- The greater the talents the greater the responsibility
- We have a responsibility to use and develop the talents God gives
- There will be a day of reckoning (judgment) for how we use them

Treasure

*A Christian’s attitude towards money is a reflection of their relationship with God

- Five Truths about the stewardship of Treasure:
- Acknowledge God’s ownership of your treasure by “tithing” (First 10%)
- Know where your money goes (Live on a Budget)
- Be cautious with debt (Avoid borrowing for depreciating assets)
- Save and invest wisely (Avoid get rich quick schemes)
- Learn to be a giver
- Temple

*It is a mistake to the think that God only cares about our “inner man”
Six comparisons between our body and the temple:
- Both were built
- Both are owned by God
- Both are dedicated to God
- Both require maintenance
- Both can be desecrated
- Both can be rebuilt
*God expects you to work with what you have!
Five steps to jumpstart your health:
- Minimize sodas, sweets, and processed foods
- Find a form of exercise that you enjoy (Or will do!)
- Realize health is a lifestyle not a fad
- Set goals and measure progress
